Nicole Larsen is a Vancouver-based muralist, artist, and illustrator with a deep passion for creativity, community, and connection. With over a decade of experience in the visual arts, she blends her background in design with a love for painting and storytelling through colour and form.
She believes in the power of art to bring people together and create a sense of belonging. Her work celebrates joy, community, and the small, meaningful moments that shape everyday life. Inspired by the natural world, shared emotions, and her Japanese-Canadian heritage, she’s drawn to bold, vibrant colours and organic shapes that feel alive and uplifting.
Whether painting large-scale murals or illustrating for print and digital design, her intention is always the same: to create art that feels joyful, rooted, and full of heart. She loves collaborating with change-makers, planet-lovers, and community builders to create work that not only brightens spaces but also fosters connection and inspiration.
Nicole is currently based in Vancouver, BC, and honours with gratitude that she is a guest on the the traditional and unceded territory of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam First Nations of past and present.
