withinUs has grown exponentially since they first opened in 2013, recently placing 65th out of 500 businesses for the Canadian Business and Maclean’s Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies. They were also ranked as one of the top 50 startup companies in Canada last year and have recently become a favourite brand for people such as Michelle Obama, Kate Hudson and Debora Messing.
Being a large part of the company since the beginning, I have designed and directed almost all aspects of their brand identity, including their logo, wordmarks, package design, print promotional materials, trade show booth, and social posts and GIFs. I continue to design all of their print, packaging and printed promotional materials and appreciate working with a company that truly values the health and well-being of others. Because of the wide range of health products withinUs offers, they wanted a simple and versatile brand identity that could use branded patterns and a wide range of colours as a way to showcase their product variety.
Holt Renfrew Limited Edition box
This box was specially designed for Holt Renfrew to be retailed exclusively in all Holt Renfrew Stores. The outside of the box features de-bossed shapes and gold foil and is made to contrast the inside of the box, making for a delightful surprise when the box is opened.
Limited Edition Gift Boxes
These gift boxes were designed for those wanting to sample the most popular withinUs products, and feature unique hand-illustrated prints for an extra special touch.
Digital Design and Print Collateral
I’ve created many social media posts, digital graphics and print materials for withinUs over the years. I love to add hand-drawn elements and bold colours to make an impact online, and maintain the playful yet simple elements of the brand in everything print.
Trade show Designs
I have designed two trade show booths for withinUs, the most recent being shown in the photos below. Working with the construction team I provided them with a mockup of the bar table using wooden slats and a white tabletop to give the booth a modern and natural feel. Wooden shelves were used rather than their usual white to coordinate with the bar, and a lit backdrop with an accent image and logo was created to showcase the brand. I also created all of the marketing materials for the tradesheow such as signs, large-scale banners, bags, a spin wheel and flyers.
