Somerset Moss believes in the power of simplicity with a core collection of products designed to be blended and layered to meet individual skincare needs. Somerset Moss values simple living and natural beauty, inspiring their clients to slow down and take time to pamper themselves. Somerset Moss products only use high-grade natural botanical ingredients and do not use any fillers.
After a few years in the industry, Sam, the founder and owner of Somerset Moss, wanted to give the brand and packaging a new look. I rebranded her business and created all new packaging and promotional material for her as well. I continue to work with Sam to design any new packaging or promo she needs.
The Rebrand
Though Sam liked the look of her current branding, she wanted Somerset Moss to have a more elegant, modern and high-end feel while maintaining a friendly vibe. She knew she wanted to carry over the floral elements from her original packaging but done in a more simplified way that was unique to each product. She also wanted yellow to be used on the new packaging for consistency with her current brand.

Process
I explored adding florals and connecting typographic elements while keeping the logo design simple. The logo needed to be easily recognizable and legible at very a small scale.

Somerset moss now
Somerset Moss has grown exponentially since the rebrand, growing 56% in 2021 from 2020 (when the company rebranded). They now have retailers in over 20 stores across Canada and are expanding to the US as well. Both Sam and I could not be happier with how the rebrand turned out, and how it has positively effected Somerset Moss.
Along with the Somerset Moss core products, I have designed two seasonal collections to date and continue to create new packaging and promotional material for Somerset Moss.
